The Identity Tour Comes To A Close
Last date on the tour and we're back in Melbourne again, and all of us are looking forwards to celebrating what an amazing few weeks we've had playing in different cities around Australia. This time we're playing at DV8 which is in the CBD of Melbourne. Despite the rumours this little venue has a good setup, nice size room and stage and decent sound. I will say climbing 3 flights of stairs is fairly taxing though, we're not exactly fine athletes prepped for the London Olympics or anything!
With it being Bury The Fallen's vocalist's last gig with them the crowd packed the venue to give him a great send off, and the mosh pit was cranking as it should be! Thanks to the other bands on the show Your World In Ruins and Driven To The Verge who owned the place also, so check them out and give them a like on FB.
Thanks to all the bands we've shared the stage with over the course of this tour, thanks to everyone behind the scenes who helped put the shows together for us, and thanks to all the venues for having us.
To all the people that came out to see us live thank you ever so much for your support, being able to share our music with you all is the reason we do this. We hope to be back on the road again in the coming months, so we'll be seeing you soon!

Canberra & Sydney Leg
After Brisbane and GC the other weekend we were all pumped for another weekend of heavy music, drinking, hanging with dudes, and generally duding it up, with heaps of dudes (and some dudettes). Most of us hadn't ever been to Canberra and for those who don't know, Canberra is fricking cold this time of year! It gets down to -3°C over night and shit! So we packed our thermal undies and and fluffy socks and braced for frostbite. The Basement is a cool venue (pun intended) with a good sized stage, and the locals who frequent there are all cool people (pun intended again). The bands on this line up were top class, special mentions to Nemesphyxia and Psynonemous for absolutely owning it. Hat's off to everyone at this show for showing us an awesome time after the gig, we didn't want to leave at the end! The guys in Nemesphyxia sure know the full meaing of 'loose' that's for certain.
Sydney was off to a chilled start with Sebby taking us out on the family yacht on Sydney harbour, so on stage we were all rocking out with some mean sea legs like pirates yarrrrrrr! Venom is the coolest metal club ever, with 3 levels of metal! We were playing in the basement which is a compact room which went off as the crowd packed in. Arteries kicked it off with some tough ass breakdowns followed by Whisky Smile and Graveyard Rockstars who both owned the place. Such an awesome night!
Cheers to all the bands we joined the stage with and special thanks to Fogz from Assidian and Nick from Venom for setting up the shows and having us on.
Melbourne is up again this weekend which is the last date on our tour. Come help us bring our epic maiden journey to a close at DV8! Check out the event here - Bury The Fallen, Driven To The Verge, ISAW (SA) & Your World In Ruins @ DV8

Brisbane & Gold Coast Leg
This weekend we were all flying together, Sebby secured all the exit rows so we could stretch out and pretend we were in business class and heaps famous. Brisbane was up first and it was Irukandji's CD launch so we had a feeling it was going to go off, which it did. Basement 243 is in the guts of the valley with a strip joint either side and one upstairs also, to say there were a few stray cats around is an understatement. We hit up Grill'd around the corner for some awesome burgers (something that Adelaide is lacking) to fuel up before the gig, hopefully there will be a Grill'd in Adelaide soon! The show was a great one and all the bands on the line up were heavy as! They were all great dudes and really accommodating of us.
Next up was The Shark Bar on the Gold Coast. Shifting The Paradigm headlined this one and two of the bands from the Brisbane gig the night before Sending Artax and Kyzer Soze joined us on the show. Shifting The Paradigm blew the place appart, what amazing sounding band live and such talented musicians. Same goes for Sending Artax, absolute shredders and top blokes as well!
Thanks to all the bands for helping us out with gear and just being generally awesome dudes! Special thanks to Kent for setting up the shows and making both nights great! Below is a bit of footage of us at the Gold Coast show, taken by Nev from Shifting The Paradigm.

The Prague, Melbourne
Driving to and from Melbourne some might say is a long drive but we all had an awesome time in anticipation for our first ever show in Melbourne. We hit Friday night peak hour traffic right as we were getting close to the venue which was hectic to say the least! Us small town Adelaidians have it easy that's for certain. The Prague is a great venue with a great sound system, great bar, and a wicked little stage. Thanks to Darina for having us play there! Because it's Melbourne which is known for its music we were expecting to see some amazing talent, and that we did! Spectrums, Hailmary, Bronson, and especially Scar the Surface are all amazing bands worthy of your listening of, so check them out!
Special thanks to Elliot from Scar the Surface for setting up the show, and cheers to everyone who came along!
Thanks to our good friend Rod Whitfield for reviewing the night, read it here - http://buzzmagazine.com.au/live-review-%E2%80%93-bronsonisawscar-the-sur...

Adelaide Leg of The Identity Tour
After the events of our first tour date in Renmark last weekend we were all stoked to be playing in our home town of Adelaide after not having done a show there for 3 months or so. It was Truth Inc's The New Dead Metalfest 2 and was absolutely loaded with amazing local and interstate talent, not to mention it was local heros Double Dragon's last ever show. We were more than honoured to be sharing the stage with them for the last time, such awesome dudes. The afternoon and night went off without a hitch and all our friends in the crowd were in fine form getting a mosh happening during our set. The after party at Enigma Bar was punishing too, thank fuck we've got the week to recover before Melbourne next weekend!
Special thanks and hats off to Jason North for setting up the festival for the second time now. With the amount of support we saw over the day we're sure there'll be many more to come.
Thanks to Svenbonkira for the rad photos!
